Introduction to Rifle Shooting
Our superb rifle range is set in magnificent surroundings in Dumfries & Galloway
there is a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a successful start to your shooting experience
everyone is welcome inc novices, ladies & children and there is a friendly atmosphere
modern rifles, equipment and safety protection are provided plus Firebird reactive targets
qualified shooting instructors with in depth knowledge of the techniques of rifle shooting
An 'Introduction to Rifle Shooting'
Instruction will be providing on our rifle range on silhouette targets including rabbit, fox and deer over various distances. Air Arms 10-shot pneumatic air rifles equipment and safety protection are provided plus Firebird reactive targets for some added excitement. On impact, the target ignites in order to reflect a direct hit producing a significant pyrotechnic reaction and loud report.
Our ‘Introduction to Rifle Shooting’ also explains various caliber rifles, ammunition and their uses in the field including estate deer management and vermin control. This is a excellent entry level experience to learn about rifle shooting whilst having a great time. Everyone is welcome especially novices, ladies & children and we have a family friendly atmosphere and encourage everyone to participate.
Groups including stag and hen parties can be catered for and can include hospitality if required.
We ensure that everyone receives a full briefing of gun handling, safety and shooting etiquette as well as basic coaching geared to their individual needs.
